Probably all of us have heard the phrase, “Count your blessings,” but, how many people really do? Have you ever counted yours? People often find it more convenient to focus on the day’s negative events rather than taking time to acknowledge the numerous positive experiences or blessings they received throughout the same period. Have you ever imagined that others have received more blessings than you? Rest assured, that is not the case! “And He said to them, ‘Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses’” (Luke 12:15).
