Last week I sent out a Brethren Letter addressed to married men that I had written in 2010. This week, I am resending the second part of that series as I addressed our married women in the Church.
Please have wonderful Sabbath!
Your Brother in Christ,
November 5, 2010
Considering last week’s Bible study on the subject of “marriage”, I’ve decided to forward more of my notes covering the parts of the subject we have gone over so far. That way, if you would like to have everything in one folder, it should make things a little easier.
Your Brother in Christ,
23And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” 24Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
30For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Ambassador College Notes: (A Wife’s Role)
Summary of The Virtuous Woman:
This woman is strong – physically and in character. She has a serenity, which can come only from effective planning, diligent effort and consistently good personal habits. She has learned well the art of loving and supporting her husband in any situation, from intimate to public. She can feel confident in her own and family’s appearance because she has learned the secret of combining quality with best looks. She has mastered the household arts well enough that there is time for perfecting skills which bring monetary reward – thus increasing her family’s quality of life. She is not totally wrapped up in only personal or family affairs – she helps out those who are less blessed. Obviously, her home and family reflect her own character because their appreciation is spontaneous. But most important, she knows that true femininity rests upon her relationship with God – not on physical appearance or behavior.

Now UNDERSTAND! The husband-and-wife relationship, and the family relationship, are God-plane relationships! What a WONDERFUL PRIVILEGE to be HUMANS — to be given the MARRIAGE relationship now, but later to marry Christ and become part of the GOD FAMILY!
