June 22, 2018 Brethren Letter

Dear Brethren,

“And you shall eat before the LORD your God, in the place where He chooses to make His name abide, the tithe of your grain and your new wine and your oil, of the firstborn of your herds and your flocks, that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always” (Deuteronomy 14:23 – NKJV).

My wife and I have returned home after visiting the 2018 Feast site. I’m very pleased to announce that the city selected for this year’s Feast of Tabernacles.

All arrangements have been finalized with the Hampton Inn & Suites. I believe you’ll be pleased with the hotel, surrounding city, and variety of restaurants. As in previous years, we will once again have a “Family Day” activity.

The rooms available for us at the Hampton Inn & Suites are a choice of a double queen bed room or a single king bed room, priced at $79.00 per night (plus 13.92% tax). Standard King Suites are also available for $99.00 per night (plus tax), and King Suites with a whirlpool, are available for $109.00 per night (plus tax). All rooms include the basic amenities, a coffee maker, mini-refrigerator and microwave oven.

Breakfast is included free of charge each day with your hotel stay, and consists of cereals, baked goods, assorted fruit, eggs, waffles, oatmeal, coffee, tea, juices, and milk.

Some restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Other restaurants are a short drive away, as well as a Walmart and a Target.

After the weekly Sabbath, you can begin making your reservations at the hotel. Just be sure to tell the hotel you are with the Church of God, to receive the discounted room rate, as mentioned above.

I will give more details about the Feast site and activities in the coming weeks. For now, I wanted to give you an overview. Of course, the best part of the Feast is the spiritual aspect. We eagerly look forward to hearing the upcoming sermons and sermonettes, continuing our growth in grace and knowledge (II Peter 3:18).

Have a wonderful Sabbath, brethren!

Your Brother in Christ,

Gary Liebold
