A NATIONAL DAY OF THANKSGIVING
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
In a few weeks our nation will be observing a National Day of Thanksgiving. Sadly, far too many Americans think of Thanksgiving Day as being more of a day of parades, turkey dinners and football games, rather than a day of expressing gratitude toward God. God has truly bestowed MANY abundant (yet undeserved) blessings upon this nation, and God’s people should NEVER take those blessings for granted!
